Official Biography
Anne McCarthy Strauss is the author of A Medical Affair (Booktrope, 2013) and The Passion Thief (Booktrope, 2014). Following the closure of her previous agent’s agency, her memoir, The Caregiver, is currently being shopped. It is the story of her husband’s complicated illness and passing. After a career in corporate communications, Anne turned to her true career desire, writing books and magazine articles. Her work has appeared in dozens of national and regional magazines and websites. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in journalism from Marquette University, and has taught classes on writing and book promotion. A native New Yorker, she now lives in Saratoga Springs, New York, where she is on the staff of Saratoga TODAY.
